house rules
Damit auch du deinen Aufenthalt in der Villa Nicole geniessen kannst, möchte ich dich bitten, folgende Informationen zu lesen. Bitte melde mir auch, wenn du Sachen siehst, die nicht mehr funktionieren oder ersetzt werden müssen, so kann ich das Haus in Schwung halten und es macht immer für alle Spass, sich in meinem Haus da sich aufzuhalten. Gleichzeitig liegt mir Nachhaltigkeit sehr am Herzen, und ich bitte dich um ein bisschen Unterstützung, damit wir gemeinsam verantwortungsvoll mit Energie und Ressourcen umgehen können.

Klimaanlage – nur so viel wie nötig
Um Energie zu sparen, schalte die Klimaanlage bitte nur abends etwa eine Stunde vor dem Schlafengehen ein. Morgens kannst du sie wieder ausschalten. Tagsüber sollte sie aus bleiben, vor allem, wenn du unterwegs bist. Vielen Dank für dein Verständnis!
Elektroauto laden
Falls du ein Elektroauto mitgebracht hast, gibt es eine Ladestation direkt am Haus. Ich bitte dich, ausschließlich diese zu nutzen. Für eine kurze Einführung melde dich gerne bei mir – ich bin jederzeit für dich da!
Solarstrom
Meine Solaranlage produziert tagsüber von 10:00 bis 18:00 Uhr bei Sonnenschein besonders viel Strom. Nutze diese Zeit am besten für stromintensive Geräte wie Waschmaschine, Backofen, Geschirrspüler oder Trockner. Wenn möglich, schalte die Geräte nacheinander ein – so läuft alles effizient.

alarm system
The house is secured by an alarm system equipped with motion sensors and surveillance cameras. These systems detect unauthorized entry and immediately trigger an alarm, which is forwarded directly to a security company. The alarm can be deactivated using a keypad on the front door.
When you approach the house, you must turn off the alarm system immediately, otherwise the alarm will be triggered after 45 seconds.
To deactivate the alarm system, briefly touch the keypad so that the numbers light up. Then enter the code to turn the system off.

house key
front door
The front door can only be opened from the outside with a key, even if the door is already unlocked.
spare key / emergency key
Outside behind the door there is a box with a numeric code where a spare key is stored. The code is: 8180 (Bülach postcode).
Important: When moving into the house, unlock the door to the outside area and ensure access to the emergency key.
door lock
The front door can be opened from the outside either with a code or conventionally with a key. It is important to note that either a key or the code is required from the outside, otherwise the door will fall into the lock and remain locked.
From the inside, the door can be opened using the handle without a key or using the digital lock. Simply press the middle of the lock or turn it anti-clockwise to open it.

water / hot water
The hot water is mainly produced using solar energy and the electric boiler is only rarely needed. The amount of water is enough for about 6 people per day with average consumption. The boiler (Reduit) does not need to be switched on or off and is controlled automatically.
If there is no hot water and the boiler is not switched on, it can be started by pressing the control lamp.
MUSIC / Bluetooth speakers
In the living area, on the balcony and in the downstairs bedroom you have an Alexa available to listen to music. You have the option of playing a variety of radio stations. Some examples are:
"Alexa, play Swiss Pop Music."
"Alexa, play classic rock stations."
"Alexa, play Vintage Radio."
Bluetooth speakers outside
There are Bluetooth speakers for outside. The charging cable for the speakers is outside on the shelf. The speakers can be used as Bluetooth.
bed linen and bath towels
bed linen
When you arrive, all beds will be freshly made. Spare bed linen for all rooms is located in the utility room, in the left-hand drawer. When you leave, please strip all used beds and put them in the utility room with the washing machine.
terry cloth
The terry cloths are in the utility room in the right-hand drawer. You can use them and please put them next to the washing machine in the utility room when you leave.
bath and beach towels
Bath and beach towels are available in the cloakroom. Please only take the towels you need. It is important to note that beach towels should not be put directly in the washing machine or taken to the pool. Please shake out the sand thoroughly on the beach.
drying bath towels
There is a drying facility for towels near the outdoor shower. Before washing, please shake out the towels well so that no sand gets into the washing machine.
Klimaanlage
Das Haus hat zwei unabhängige Klimaanlagen. Eine für den unteren Bereich und eine für den oberen Bereich. Bitte die Klimaanlage nur bei Bedarf und kurz einschalten und nicht bei offenen Türen oder Fenstern verwenden!
Idealerweise im Sommer zum Schlafen, 1h zuvor einstellen und dann ausschalten. Alternativ am frühen Morgen ausschalten. Die Zimmer bleiben genügend lange angenehm kühl.

Waschen
Im Reduit stehen eine Waschmaschine und ein Tumbler zur Verfügung.
Waschmaschine
Bitte kein Sand in Waschmaschine. Tücher nach dem Strandbesuch, draussen gut ausschütteln. Wenn möglich Kurzprogram verwenden.
Tumbler
Nach Gebrauch Wasserbehälter von Tumbler leeren und Filter reinigen.

Bitte versuche zu Zeiten zu waschen, wo du den Solarstrom nutzen kannst. Im Sommer ist dies von 10:00 Uhr bis abends um 18:00 Uhr. Wenn möglich, nutze den Tumbler und die Waschmaschine nicht zum gleichen Zeitpunkt.
cleaning
A cordless vacuum cleaner and cleaning products are available. The cleaning products can be found under the sink. Please use the cordless vacuum cleaner and recharge the battery after use.
pool
Please shower after visiting the beach, no sand in the pool
Do not go into the pool with fresh sunscreen on your body
The outdoor shower can be used before and after the pool. There is hot and cold water.
Bath towels can be hung at the outdoor shower
The pool toys including pump are stored in the outdoor storage area and can be used.
Important:
Please no glass in the outdoor and pool areas ! Plastic cups are available.
lounge
The lounge and garden furniture can be used freely. Please keep the cushions dry and bring them to a dry place if it rains. Towels are available to protect the cushions (sunscreen) and can be deposited in the laundry room at the end of your stay.
Please do not sit on upholstered furniture and chairs in the living area / indoors with wet textiles.
Garden furniture, water toys and covers
Other garden furniture (deckchairs, chairs, etc.) is stored in the garden shed behind the house. Please take it from there and put it back correctly.
After use, place the water toys dry and folded in the box.
The cover for the lounge is in the garden house and is used to protect the lounge furniture when leaving the house.
Küche
Lebensmittel
Alle Lebensmittel können verwendet werden, bitte vergleichbar ersetzen. Im Reduit sind weitere Lebensmittel Vorräte insbesondere Kaffee, Tee und Backwaren vorhanden.
Getränke, Wein
Die verfügbaren Getränke, besonders der Wein im Reddit, bitte nicht konsumieren. Wir bitten darum, euren Wein eigenständig zu besorgen.
Geschirrspüler
Bitte bei Abreise Geschirrspüler offenlassen, damit dieser ganz trockenen kann.
Backoffen
Wenn die Uhr von Backoffen blinkt, kann der Backoffen nicht verwendet werden. Uhr muss neu eingestellt werden.
Thermomix
Der Thermomix steht zur Verfügung. Zubehör ist unterhalb vom Backoffen.
Kochfeld
Das Kochfeld ist ein Induktionsherd. Bitte deckt es zum Schutz ab, wenn ihr es nicht gebraucht. Die Kindersicherung kann eingestellt bzw. gelöst werden, durch Drücken der Schloss-Taste von min. 3 Sekunden.
Licht Kombination
Kombination: LED bei Kombination, mit kleinem Schalter bei Kühlschrank ein / aus.

TIP: Leave the orange press (underneath the oven) outside on a shelf and squeeze fresh orange juice for breakfast.
Free Cooking with Solar Power
Try to use electrical appliances, such as the oven, in such a way that you can use the solar power . In summer this is from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
disposal and waste
The waste is divided into cardboard, glass and residual waste. There are collection points on the roadsides. There are garbage bags under the sink (kitchen), but special garbage bags are not necessary.
ice cream maker
You can find an ice maker on Reddit. To use it, fill it with fresh water and turn it on. Please remember to turn it off after use, clean it and drain any excess water (by loosening the valve under the ice maker).
board games
Various board games can be found in the living area and in the sideboard (left) near the kitchen. Have fun playing.
Printer
A printer, scanner and copier are available in the Reduit. The AirPrint function for printing directly from your mobile phone is activated.
medications
The most important medicines are in the drawer below the printer, on the bottom left. If you need them in an emergency situation, you are free to use them - please replace them accordingly.
